Job Summary:

  • Support the delivery and execution of quality food service to residents and guests
  • Be a part of a supportive and high-performing team with the aim of redefining senior living and delivering top level results
  • Prepare fresh, nutritious, appealing, and delicious meals for our residents, team members, prospective residents, families, and guests
  • Follow plans and menus, and execute meals on time with minimal supervision
  • Contribute to a positive and safe workplace

Qualifications:

  • At least two years’ previous experience in kitchens; hotels, hospitals, senior living, and related operations preferred
  • A high school diploma or equivalent certificate
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
  • Basic knife skills
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Current Food Handler certificate or First Aid Certification is a plus
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work well with all people, particularly seniors
